Formula Student Team Ljubljana host team track day in Krsko!

Our SHD Composite Materials Europe d.o.o. team have recently been invited to a Superior Engineering - Formula student Team Ljubljana team track day in Krsko! Formula Student Team Ljubljana prepared two of their formula student race vehicles for the team to test out. Over the last year, the team have focused on developing the aerodynamics of the car to reduce drag, using SHD’s carbon fibre prepreg, as well as a wheel anti-slip system to maintain grip around the track.

‘The past couple of years SHD played an incredibly important role in the development of our formula student race cars. With the help of SHD we were able to produce very light and strong products of high quality utilising your prepreg carbon fiber and resin film.’ Julij Zupan.

Formula Student Team Ljubljana’s 2021 season has been a success, overcoming technical problems over the summer going from 10th place to 7th place and working towards finishing 3rd place out of 20 teams in their last race.
