Our original site in Sleaford, Lincolnshire, is the Head Office and manufacturing base of the SHD Group. It is also the global centre for Research & Development and Technical Support. From our Sleaford manufacturing site, we have the capability of servicing all of our UK and Rest of World customers, with our fabric and uni-directional prepreg machines having a combined capacity of over 2 million square metres per year.
To support strong growth in the European markets, SHD Composite Materials Europe d.o.o. opened its factory in Krško in early 2018 and expanded into a new 1500m² facility in 2022. SHD Europe offers a full range of high quality SHD products with the renowned SHD levels of Service and Technical Support. Maximum current capacity in Krško is approaching 2 million square metres per year.
SHD Composite Materials Inc was incorporated in 2018 to service the America's composite industries. The North American HQ is located in Mooresville, North Carolina, with a second manufacturing facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma. From our two factories we can ensure continuity and consistency of supply to our customers with our fabric and uni-directional machines having a combined capacity approaching 1.5 million square metres per year.

SHD expands manufacturing and storage capacity by moving into two 10,000 sqft buildings in 2015
SHD Holdings is formed in 2017, setting up a structure to expand SHD Group in the coming years
SHD Composite Materials Europe d.o.o. is set up in Krško, Slovenia and begins manufacturing in 2018
SHD Composite Materials Inc. is incorporated and begins manufacturing in a new factory in Mooresville, North Carolina in 2019
