Work Times: 8am to 4pm (Monday to Friday). A degree of flexibility will be needed at peak periods.
The purpose of this role is to work alongside our existing team to assist with the efficient running of the Despatch and Goods In department.
Person Specification
In this role, you will be required to meet the delivery and transfer orders and be involved in the day to day running of the Despatch and Goods In department.
Key Responsibilities
Working in accordance with Company Quality and Health & Safety procedures at all times.
Understand the various hazards associated within the department
Ensure appropriate PPE is worn at all times
Inform the Warehouse Manager on any accidents/near misses
Assist with the loading and unloading of lorries
Ensuring the presentation standard of packed/picked goods meet both company and customer requirements
Report shipment quality issues as early as possible
Minimising wastage where possible
Maintaining a clean and hygienic workplace
Ensure that all procedures are adhered
Ensure all paperwork complies to AS9100 standards and specific Customer demands
Ensure all stock is held in the appropriate location
Assist with both Good In and Despatch requirements for the company
To undertake any other duties from time to time as can be reasonably requested by the company.
