First class technical support
Excellent customer service
The same manufacturing equipment and processes across all sites
This material should be kept frozen at -18°C (0°F). It must be kept sealed in a polythene bag which must not be opened until fully thawed to room temperature. If the material is not fully used, then the material must be resealed in the polythene bag to prevent moisture absorption.
This material contains epoxy resin which can cause allergic reactions with skin contact and must avoid repeated and prolonged skin contact.
Please refer to the product Safety Data Sheet before using this material. The following precautions must be taken when using epoxy resin prepregs:
Overalls must be worn
Impervious gloves must be worn
Curing schedule is meant to be as a guide only and is subject to local conditions
To avoid exotherm, particular care must be taken with thick laminates
Ramp rates must not exceed 1.0°C (2.0°F)/min during initial cure and 0.3°C (0.5°F)/min during post cure
Fill in this short contact form and a member of staff will be in touch as soon as possible.
LTC410 offers up to 21 days of working life at 20°C (70°F). This gives teams more time to complete larger or more complex tools without sacrificing the final performance of the material.
Yes. LTC410 cures between 65°C and 80°C (149°F to 320°F), then can be post-cured for service temperatures up to 180°C (356°F). This makes it useful when lower curing temperatures and higher working temperatures are both needed.
Using a prepreg with low shrinkage and low thermal expansion can help tools keep their shape and accuracy. LTC410 is designed with both properties, helping reduce movement as the tool heats and cools.
LTC410 is designed for tough, low-temperature aerospace tooling with a long working life. It also provides a good surface finish and can be supplied on different fabrics to suit the tool and manufacturing process.
Both offer long working times and low-temperature curing. LTC400 provides up to 30 days at 20°C (70°F), while LTC410 offers 21 days at 20°C (70°F) and is a toughened system designed for aerospace and general tooling applications.
