SHD materials used to manufacture carbon fibre orthosis for llama Nodi

RePaw Pet, an orthotics and prosthetics provider in Ljubljana, are on a mission to improve mobility and quality of life of pets and their owners by manufacturing high quality custom-made mobility aids for animals.

Recently, RePaw had a unique opportunity to work with Posestvo Valdek and their friendly llama Nodi. Due to a degenerative change to his front limbs, RePaw were able to help and make a carbon orthosis for him. Along with students at the University of Ljubljana Faculty of Health Sciences, RePaw used SHD prepreg to manufacture the bespoke orthosis for Nodi.
