First class technical support
Excellent customer service
The same manufacturing equipment and processes across all sites
This material should be kept frozen at -18°C (0°F). It must be kept sealed in a polythene bag which must not be opened until fully thawed to room temperature. If the material is not fully used, then the material must be resealed in the polythene bag to prevent moisture absorption.
This material contains epoxy resin which can cause allergic reactions with skin contact and must avoid repeated and prolonged skin contact.
Please refer to the product Safety Data Sheet before using this material. The following precautions must be taken when using epoxy resin prepregs:
Overalls must be worn
Impervious gloves must be worn
Curing schedule is meant to be as a guide only and is subject to local conditions
To avoid exotherm, particular care must be taken with thick laminates
Ramp rates must not exceed 1.0°C (2.0°F)/min during initial cure and 0.3°C (0.5°F)/min during post cure
Fill in this short contact form and a member of staff will be in touch as soon as possible.
LTB310-1 contains 30% bio-based content from a renewable source. It offers a lower-impact option for composite tooling while still providing the high-temperature performance needed for demanding manufacturing applications.
Yes. LTB310-1 cures at relatively low temperatures but can achieve a Tg of around 390°C (734°F) after post-curing. This makes it suitable for tooling that will later be exposed to much higher temperatures.
LTB310-1 offers the same 30% bio-based content as LTB300, but with a longer working and storage life. This gives manufacturers more time and flexibility when laying up larger or more complex tools.
Yes. LTB310-1 can cure from 45°C (115°F) and has a low-viscosity resin suited to heavier reinforcements. This makes it a practical option for larger tooling where easy handling and low-temperature processing are important.
Yes. LTB310-1 can be supplied with natural fibre and flax/carbon hybrid reinforcements, as well as standard carbon and glass options. This gives manufacturers more choice when looking to reduce the environmental impact of composite tooling.
