Formation of SHD Group

SHD Holdings Ltd has been set up to enable the formation of a group of companies to service high volume and specific market sectors whilst maintaining the same service, ethos and values in SHD Composite Materials Ltd that is so important to owners Steve and Helen Doughty.

The first of these is SHD-MTI Ltd.

The potential and scope for PFA as a viable FST proven (and bio-based) alternative to phenolic is becoming widely acknowledged. After considerable investment and research into this product we have formed SHD-MTI Ltd. SHD Mass Transit Interiors sits within the SHD group of companies with a specific company model to service the high volume aerospace and rail interiors markets with PFA based resin systems. This will be led by highly experienced aerospace and rail professionals working alongside our current composites team.

As a further addition to the group the first European facility located in Krsko in Slovenia has been acquired.

SHD Europe is ideally situated to provide the high standards of SHD service, products and levels of quality throughout Europe.
