Location: Onsite at Mooresville, North Carolina
Work Times: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (Monday to Friday) A degree of flexibility will be needed at peak periods.

Person Specification
In this role you will ensure that the right products are delivered to the correct location on time, manage shipment regulatory and compliance requirements, and ensure delivery of the product both efficiently and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Planning
Perform Contract Review for Logistics element upon receipt.
Ensure stock levels are accurate and print pick sheets and labels for shipping team the day before shipment leaves, to eliminate last minute errors and delays.
Calculate weights using shipping calculator.
Order Dry Ice and Nitro ahead of demand.
Booking trucks for shipping ahead of demand.
Managing, testing transportation providers, reviewing costs, transportation rates and researching shipping options to reduce costs and further enhance customer satisfaction.
Organisation
Ensure Manifest is up to date and accurate every day.
Coordinate trucks for shipping. This includes quoting loads, evaluating the best options and communicating costs to accounts department
Maintain accurate and consistent records being neat and organized.
Execution
Ensure that customers receive material on time, and it is delivered in excellent condition.
Work in accordance with Company Quality, Health, and Safety procedures at all times.
Manage inventory requirements to meet customer needs.
Ensure dispatch paperwork complies to AS9100 standards and specific customer requirements.
Monitor shipments, engage in regular communication with clients and quickly address errors to promote customer satisfaction.
Follow up
Process and send delivery packets to customers within 24 hours of shipment of material – preferably same day.
Daily update of the dispatch manifest for all US locations to ensure invoicing can be completed within 24 hours after shipment.
Allocate stock, deliver in system, produce DN, COC and labels.
Work closely with customer service, planning, production, and couriers to ensure customer delivery requirements are met or exceeded.
Awareness
Keep up with and understand International and Customs duties.
Other
Provide backup to Office and Customer Service as needed.
To undertake any other duties as requested.
Work Environment/Essential Physical Demands
Must be able to use hands/fingers for fine manipulation and keyboarding.
Must have good vision.
Must be able to follow all safety and company policies and procedures.
Must be able to wear all required PPE.
Must be able to work in a typical office and manufacturing environment.
Ability to perform clerical/office work for extended periods of time.
Ability to occasionally bend, lift, push, pull (up to 50lbs), and reach.
Ability to sit for up to 8 hours per day.
Ability to walk/stand as needed during the day.
Possible weekend work and overtime required.
Skills and Ability
Good understanding of English and Math.
Proficient with ERP systems.
High attention to detail, initiative, enthusiasm, and the ability to work under pressure.
Good time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage several projects at the same time.
