Job Title: UK Sales Engineer
Responsible to: Key Account Manager
Responsible for: None
Location: Home based but with extensive travelling across the UK. Also expected to be on site at Sleaford 1 or 2 days a week.
Work Times: 9:00am to 5:00pm (Monday to Friday). A degree of flexibility will be needed at peak periods.
Summary and Purpose
Established in 2009 in Sleaford UK, SHD Composites Group now operates through 3 manufacturing sites in the UK, Europe and USA, and are well-established industry suppliers of high quality structural and tooling prepreg materials.
EN 9100 : 2018 and BS EN ISO 9001:2015 certified , SHD pride themselves on exceptional levels of quality, service and responsiveness to local customer needs, supporting activity across multiple territories and into industry sectors including Automotive, Motorsport, Aerospace and Leisure.
The purpose of this role is to support and drive sustainable financial growth for SHD in its core UK market, through pro-active support of existing customers, developing new opportunities and liaising effectively with SHD administration and manufacturing functions.
In this role, you will be selling the products and services that our customers have grown to rely on. You will need a sound understanding of advanced composites technology, experience in field sales or technical service, strong relationships building skills and a proven ability to work effectively with other functions such as Sales Administration, Manufacturing and Technical. Self-disciplined, proactively working to support and communicate well with both internal and external customers, considerable UK travel will be expected.
