Office Administrator

Based in Sleaford, Lincolnshire

SHD Composite Materials are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and well organised full time Office Administrator to assist in a busy office.

The key skills required for the position are:

  • IT literate with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) including the use of spreadsheets
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize own workload
  • High attention to detail
  • Reliable, dependable and well organized
  • Capable of working to agreed procedures, and to deadlines
  • Professional, friendly manner
  • A good communicator with the ability to liaise with internal staff, suppliers and customers of all levels

Main Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Answering the telephone, transferring calls to the appropriate member of staff and accurately taking messages and passing on
  • Filing, scanning and photocopying
  • Provide administrative support to other departments as and when needed
  • Making refreshments for visitors, preparing the meeting room, setting up buffets including clearing away and washing up
  • Using the company Production software to support departments with input, scanning, collation and reporting of information
  • General errands as requested

The role will require the use of various computer packages including Microsoft Office and Progress Plus so computer literacy is required, but full training and support will be given if required. We will consider all levels of experience, including school leavers.
